1.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Priok Unit No. 3
& 4 (50 MW each, commissioned in 1972) had been operating for
more than 15 years and heavily deteriorated. Under a grant by Japan
International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in 1985, WEST JEC carried
out a feasibility study on rehabilitation of these units, and recommended
rehabilitation of Unit No. 3 & 4. Obtaining a loan from OECF-Japan,
PLN started the rehabilitation project in 1993 and completed 1994.
