Corporate Philosophy

West Japan Engineering Consultants, Inc. (WEST JEC) has set forth a corporate philosophy that “We dedicate ourselves to achieve true harmony between people and the environment while contributing to the creation of an affluent society.” With respect to the corporate philosophy, we wish to contribute to the society by providing a wide range of consulting and engineering services that includes civil engineering and construction facilities, survey, planning, and design for the construction of electric power facilities in due consideration of the natural and living environment.
All aspects of our business operations are guided by the following policy principles:

Environment Policy

1. To establish, implement and continuously improve the Environmental Management Systems

Effective environment management systems are established to incorporate environmental policy, and environmental goals and objectives. Our employees sincerely carry out the services and work in accordance with the systems. The environment management system is subject to periodic management review for improvement.

2. To observe statutory and other regulatory requirements

In carrying out the services and works, WEST JEC abides by laws and regulations, and other requirements to which it has agreed to aim at preserving the environment and preventing from pollution.

3. To promote environmentally-friendly business activities

Every endeavor is done in the course of business activities to propose technologies and other suitable solutions to clients that facilitate protection of the environment, reduce environmental loads, and contributes to the creation of a society that is in good harmony with the environment.

4. To promote resource and energy savings

Each employee always exerts every effort to save resources and energy, and to engage in environmentally friendly activities considering the 3-R(Reducing, Reusing and Recycling).

5. To provide environmental training with of all employees and associated companies

The company provides environmental training with for all our employees and associated companies to recognize the importance of environmental consideration in all aspects of our business activities. In addition, suitable environmental education is provided with our associated business partners or companies for their understanding of the environmental activities of our company.
